New wing for Hull jail
HMP Hull
Hull prison is now one of the biggest in the country
A brand new wing at Hull Prison is being unveiled to make it one of the country's biggest facilities.

An extra 350 cells have been built as part of a £30m extension, bringing the jail's capacity to 1,000 inmates.

The Home Office has described the facilities as "state-of-the-art."

It has also said the new accommodation will be backed by more education for prisoners.
