RCA Secret: In Pictures
The Secret postcard show at the Royal College of Art, London, offers the chance to guess which of the miniature works on display were created by a celebrated contemporary artist - and buy it at a fraction of the usual price.
BBC News Online presents a selection of the 1,000 in the 2002 exhibition, which opens on 21 November.
The works could be by students or well-known artists
Every single postcard costs £35 regardless of the artist
The exhibition and sale has raised £500,000 which goes towards grants to art students
The artist's name is written on the back of the postcard and is only revealed once it has been sold
Much of the work is created by RCA students, where former pupils include Tracey Emin and David Hockney
Art lovers have been known to queue for days to secure their favourite postcard
