The Roman Catholic missionary news agency in Rome has reported a new massacre in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
It said some five-hundred civilians, many of them women and children, were killed by rebels last week.
The agency said the killings took place at Mokobola in South Kivu province, between December the thirtieth and January the first. reason: Willey/rome correspondent says missionary life in danger if news attributed to them.
