Robber hijacks bus
Interior of a bus
The bus had reached the end of its journey
Police are hunting a man who hijacked a bus in Lancashire.

The attacked struck at just after 1900 GMT after the driver had finished his journey outside Bispham Library, in Blackpool.

He forced the driver to travel to Rossall Avenue while holding a knife to his throat.

He then stole about £20 in takings.

Liz Esnough, of Blackpool Transport, said the attacker may have been caught by CCTV cameras.

She added: "We are now in the process of viewing the CCTV so that it could be used for evidence.

"We hope it will help us identify the culprit."
