Leicester ban Millwall fans
Dennis Wise
Dennis Wise is the centre of tension between the clubs
Leicester City are barring Millwall supporters from the Division One game between the two clubs at the Walkers Stadium on 14 December 14.

The decision has been made after discussions with Leicestershire police.

The fixture will be all-ticket for home supporters only, with no tickets being made available for sale on the day of the match.

Tension between the two clubs is high because of former Leicester player Dennis Wise, who is now at Millwall and is suing Leicester.

Last Saturday's match between the two clubs, at Millwall, ended in a 2-2, with Wise dramatically scoring the final equaliser.

Earlier, the game had been marred by a red card for Foxes' striker Brian Deane for his two-footed lunge at Wise.

Wise is suing Leicester after being sacked by the East Midlands club following an incident in which Callum Davison suffered a fractured cheekbone.

In a statement, Leicester said it was banning Millwall fans "in the interest of public safety".

On its website, Millwall described the decision as a "U-turn".
