New rail strike planned
Train drivers with First North Western have announced they are planning another strike.
The drivers, who are members of the Aslef union, will stage a 48-hour walkout next month affecting the network across north west England and north Wales. In a separate dispute, drivers with the Wales & Borders company will also stage a two-day strike in December. The strikes, announced on Tuesday, are the latest moves in long-running pay disputes. More soon.
