Charges over ecstasy death
Jade Slack
Jade Slack is the UK's youngest ecstasy death victim
Two people have been charged with manslaughter over the death of the UK's youngest ecstasy victim.

Wayne Wood, who is 21, and 20-year-old Rebecca Hodgson, were both charged in connection with the 10-year-old's death on Tuesday.

Jade Slack died after becoming ill at a house in north Lancashire earlier this year.

Mr Wood and Ms Hodgson, both from Galgate, near Lancaster, were charged after answering bail at Lancaster police station.

Mr Wood, from Highland Brow, and Ms Hodgson, from Salford Road, are due before magistrates on Thursday.

Jade was taken ill on 14 July this year after taking ecstasy tablets at a friend's house.

She was taken to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary where she later died.
