Residents' say on council cash
Blackpool Tower
Local forums are to be held for residents
Residents in Blackpool are to be given a bigger say in how the council spends its money.

Members of the council say they want to hear the views of residents before drawing up the spending plans for next year.

Almost £39m was raised through council tax in the current financial year.

Politicians decided education and street cleaning should benefit from extra investment.

Residents will be encouraged to attend local area forums and an interactive website will be set up.
