Molly Adams died last month from serious head injuries after being taken to hospital from her home in Crumpsall, Greater Manchester.

The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, sat quietly at Manchester juvenile court alongside her parents and grandparents.

She will appear in court again in February when her case will be sent to crown court for trial. Until then she will continue to live with her family.
