A team of international monitors has gone to southern Kosovo to investigate reports of a mass grave.
The site of the alleged grave, which is near the southern town of Urosevac, was brought to the attention of the international monitors by the rebel Kosovo Liberation Army, which is fighting for the province's independence from Serbia.
It says the grave contains the bodies of eleven women and children.
A spokesman for the monitoring mission said the team would look for any obvious signs, as they have no facilities for carrying out forensic tests.
