South African Muslim groups vow to hound Blair

Two Muslim groups in South Africa say they will hold demonstrations in Cape Town during a visit by the British prime minister, Tony Blair, later this week.

The groups also say they will hound Mr Blair during his trip, which begins on Wednesday.

The radical organisation, Muslims Against Global Oppression, says it will protest outside the American embassy and the British consulate on Thursday, to show its disapproval for the recent air strikes against Iraq.

Another group, Muslims Against Illegitimate Leaders, says it will support the demonstrations.
