Soccer's world governing body, FIFA, has suspended Cameroon from all international competition, following a ticketing scandal which surfaced during last year's World Cup in France.

In a statement, FIFA said it deeply regretted the move but had no option but to take the drastic action.

FIFA has accused the Camerooon Soccer Federation of not applying an emergency plan to deal with the ticketing scandal.

Under the suspension, Cameroon will no longer have the right to vote at FIFA's congress or compete internationally.
