Police in the Swiss town of Weinfelden are investigating the sudden death of a seventy-year old burglar who collapsed inside an apartment he had broken into.

The man used a master key to gain entry.

His body was discovered by the owner of the apartment, also an elderly man.

Police say the burglar had a previous conviction for a similar offence.
