Reports from South Africa say two people have been injured -- neither seriously -- in an explosion thought to have been caused by a car bomb.

The explosion happened in Cape Town, in the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront shopping and restaurant complex where a bomb killed two people four months ago.

The authorities said at the time they thought that attack might have been a response to American cruise missile attacks on Sudan and Afghanistan.
