Salford sign wing

Salford Reds have strengthened their back division to signing South African winger Mark Johnson from Hull.

The club had been on the look-out for new players following the departures of Darren Rogers to Castleford and Phil Coussons to Rochdale.

Johnson has also had spells with London Broncos and Workington.

"Mark is a very strong winger with excellent pace. We were let down by a shortage of speed last season," said Reds coach Andy Gregory.
