Thursday, December 31, 1998 Published at 12:46 GMT World: Asia-Pacific Missing Japanese ship 'found' in China The Chinese authorities say that a Japanese-owned cargo vessel which went missing in the Straits of Malacca three months ago has turned up at a port in the eastern Chinese province of Jiangsu. Chinese officials say the vessel called the Tenyu was found with a crew ofIndonesians and bearing a new name. The original crew of twelve Chinese and two South Koreans remain unaccounted for.
