Kabul university students clashed with police for a second day on Tuesday following the deaths of at least two student protesters.

Police fired into the air and used water cannons to drive back hundreds of angry students.

The protest began with hundreds of students demonstrating over dormitory living conditions

Heavily armed police tried to disperse the protesters

Students hurled stones at the officers before running away

Some students were arrested

Police beat protesters as the conflict continued through Monday night and into Tuesday morning

Some of the injured were carried away by police

Protesters said police killed four students and demanded those officers be brought to justice
