New cabinet installed in Kyrgyzstan

The newly-appointed prime minister of Kyrgyzstan, Zhumabek Ibrahimov has unveiled a new cabinet.

The previous one resigned a week ago after President Askar Akaev accused it of failing to tackle the country's economic problems.

The ministers for national security, foreign affairs, health and justice have all retained their posts in the new cabinet.

However Mr Ibrahimov appointed new ministers of trade, industry and finance.
