Two men injured in attacks
Two men have been injured in a paramilitary-style shooting in east Belfast and a beating in Newtownabbey.

A 19-year-old man has been taken to hospital with gunshot wounds to both legs after the attack in Dundonald on the outskirts of east Belfast.

The shooting happened in the Dornock Park area on Monday night.

Meanwhile, a man aged in his 20s is being treated for injuries to his arms after he was attacked by a gang of men in Newtownabbey in County Antrim.

It is understood bats studded with nails were used to beat the man in the attack, also on Monday night.
