Moor land body identified

Police in west Wales have identified a body found on moor land in Carmarthenshire on Sunday.

The 19 year-old man from London has not been named because police are still trying to trace his family to inform them of his death.

The body was found by a walker

The body was found on a hillside known as Carreg y Dwfn at Llandyfan near Ammanford by a woman out walking her dogs in the afternoon.

Officers are still trying to find out how the man died but say they are not treating his death as supicious.

On Monday forensic teams carried out a detailed examination of the area after the body was left at the scene overnight.

A Home Office pathologist was due to examine the body to try and establish the cause of death.

Dyfed-Powys Police have said they are keeping an "open mind" about how the man died.
