Hong Kong's Democrats face split

The leader of Hong Kong's Democratic Party, Martin Lee, says his group is facing a split.

Mr Lee said in an interview with a local newspaper that some members were pushing for a stronger focus on the territory's working classes, and it was possible that they might form a democratic labour party.

The party, which is not popular with Beijing, won sixty percent of the vote in May's legislative elections.

Mr Lee said it would try to resolve discontent over policies during its annual general meeting next month.
