Officials from Congo Brazzaville have met their counterparts in neighbouring Congo Kinshasa for talks aimed at easing tensions.
Congo Brazzaville says fighters loyal to its former prime minister, Bernard Kolelas, have used Congo Kinshasa as a base for their attacks on the government.
But speaking before the talks, the country's justice minister, Pierre Nze, said any differences between the two countries should be solved quickly, particularly because both countries were facing internal conflicts.
