Indian rebels raid bank

Rebels in the northeast Indian state of Nagaland have stolen what police described as a huge quantity of cash from a bank in the Zunheboto district.

Twenty armed rebels broke into the bank a branch of the State Bank of India and held the security guards at gunpoint while they broke open the vault.

The main rebel group in Nagaland is currently involved in talks with the government in Delhi, but a breakaway faction is still fighting.
