Police tape
Police are still waiting to interview the victim
A man has been charged with wounding after an attack at a caravan park in which a man's arm was severed beneath the elbow.

Gary Williamson, 30, underwent 10 hours of surgery to reattach his arm.

The incident happened at Holden Mill Caravan Park, Haslingden, Lancashire, at about 2100 GMT on Friday.

Mr Williamson also suffered stab wounds to his back and injuries to his neck.

He was taken to Fairfield General Hospital, Bury, Greater Manchester, and then transferred to Manchester's Wythenshawe Hospital to undergo microsurgery.

His condition was described as critical but stable.

Jason Booth, 32, who also lives at the caravan park, is due to appear before Burnley Magistrates on Monday.
