Four people including a young girl have been shot dead in a suspected revenge attack in South Africa's KwaZulu-Natal province.

The killings took place on Saturday evening when two gunmen fired into the victims' house.

A police spokesman said the attack was a result of a dispute between two families.

Itbrought the number of people killed in the province over the Christmas weekend to twenty-one.
