3 die in Pakistan violence

Clashes between police and civilians in northern Pakistan have left at least three people dead.

The violence flared up after a policeman was arrested in connection with the murder of a young boy in the town of Bannu.

Crowds attacked police stations and armed protestors fired at policemen.

The army was called in to restore order and a curfew has been imposed.
