UNIKOM says Iraq is cooperating

CAN FOLLOW IRAQ ACTION The permanent UN operation which monitors the border between Iraq and Kuwait has been unaffected by Iraq's decision not to allow the weapons inspectors of UNSCOM to return.

A spokesman for the United Nations Iraq-Kuwait Observation Mission, known as UNIKOM, told the BBC that they were still getting full cooperation from the Iraqi government.

He said that their routine operations remain unchanged following the US and British air strikes.
