India bowled over by New Zealand paceman

In CRICKET, India's batting has been destroyed on the opening day of the second test against New Zealand.

The New Zealand bowler, Simon Doull, took seven wickets leaving India two-hundred-and-eight all out - the Indian captain Mohammad Azharuddin top scored with an unbeaten one-hundred-and-three.

At the close of play New Zealand were fifty-two for one in reply.

Meanwhile rain washed out the first day of play in the fourth Ashes test between Australia and England at Melbourne.
