Friday, December 25, 1998 Published at 13:41 GMT World: South Asia Bangladesh committee to study Euro impact The governor of the Central Bank in Bangladesh says commercial banks in Bangladesh will only be allowed to use the new European single currency, theEuro, after a committee has studied its impact on the country's external trade. The governor, Mohammad Farashuddin, said the committee's report would be completed this month. Nearly forty-five per cent of Bangladesh's exports go to European Union countries.
