Fears for elderly couple
Police say they are growing increasingly concerned for the safety of an elderly couple who have not been seen since Tuesday.
John Newport, aged 77, and his wife Ruth, 76, left a car park in Chobham in Surrey on Tuesday afternoon.
They were meant to be taking a 30-minute journey back to their home in Warfield, near Bracknell in Berkshire, but never arrived.
Thames Valley police say it is possible that the couple got lost or became confused and disorientated.
They have appealed for anyone who saw the couple or their red Rover car, registration L543 HRD, to contact them on 01344 862626.
