Macedonian officials say that a ton of cannabis, valued at more than one-and-a-half million dollars, has been seized from a truck stopped by customs officials at the Greek border.
The truck driver was arrested.
The Macedonian interior minister, Pavle Trajanov said it was the country's biggest ever drugs haul.
He said the cannabis had been brought from neighbouring Albania and was bound for the Netherlands.
