Five militants killed in Kashmir clash

Police in Indian-administered Kashmir say five separatists and a member of the security forces were killed in a night-long clash in the state capital, Srinagar.

The security forces said they surrounded a hideout of the militants said to be members of Harkat-ul Ansar group and fired rockets after they refused to surrender.

The police said three of the militants were what they described as foreigners.
