Lake drained to steal fish for Christmas
Thieves in Poland have drained an artificial lake in the south-eastern province of Przemysland and made off with hundreds of fish for Christmas.
The gang stole 300kg of pike and 400kg of crucian carp to sell for the main festive meal on Christmas Eve.
Police told the Polish News Agency that the stolen fish was likely to be cooked before it could be recovered.
