Ethiopia denies assistance from Djibouti and Sudan

The Ethiopian government has denied that it's being aided in its border dispute with Eritrea by neighbouring Djibouti and Sudan.

A government official dismissed the accusations - made by Eritrea - as baseless, saying Ethiopia had not imported a single item through Sudan.

The Eritrean foreign minister, Haile Weldensae has accused the government of landlocked Ethiopia of importing arms via Sudan and Djibouti.

Hundreds of people were killed earlier this year when the border dispute between Ethiopia and Eritrea erupted into war.
