An American human rights organization says the Serbian authorities in Kosovo are carrying out a systematic campaign of intimidation against ethnic Albanian doctors in the province.
The Boston-based Physicians for Human Rights says it has investigated reports that doctors have become targets for torture, detention and in some cases murder.
A representative of the group Dr Jennifer Leaning said the doctors were being punished for trying to help people living in areas of conflict currently or previously controlled by the Kosovo Liberation Army.
