Send your questions to Richard Branson

The team have survived flu, war and storms

For the first time Richard Branson and his Global Challenger team will be answering questions from the public - and BBC News Online is taking the questions.

Mr Branson and his co-pilots Steve Fossett and Per Lindstrand are almost halfway around the world on their epic attempt to conquer the last great aeronautical prize.

Overcoming navigational and diplomatic hurdles, they still face the most hazardous part of the journey - the hostile 8,000 miles of Pacific Ocean where millionaire adventurer Fossett was forced to ditch during his last attempt at the record.

Great balloon challenge
The base team in Uxbridge, west London, hope a good wind will help the balloon reach the west coast of America on Christmas Day.

We have already sent some of your questions to the crew. In association with the ICO Global Website, we will post the answers as soon as we receive them.
