A Russian man who was awaiting trial for blowing up his car near the Kremlin last month is reported to have died in jail.
The Russian news agency, Interfax, said the man, Ivan Orlov, died of a heart attack at a prison in Moscow.
He was sixty-five years old.
The bomb blast outside the Kremlin's Spassky gate wounded three Kremlin guards.
Mr Orlov was only slightly injured.
The authorities said at the time that he was mentally disturbed and that he was angry with the policies of President Boris Yeltsin
