The world's largest stock market -- the New York Stock Exchange -- has retracted its threat to move away from Wall Street in the hunt for bigger premises.

It's to build a new exchange across the road from its current building, which has been there since 1902.

The exchange had threatened to move across the Hudson River to New Jersey, prompting fears that New York would lose jobs and revenues.
