Belgium's highest court is expected to decide today whether the former Secretary General of Nato, Willy Claes, was guilty of corruption and forgery when he was economics minister in the Belgian government ten years ago.
He's one of twelve defendants, including two other former ministers and the French industrialist, Serge Dassault.
Mr Dassault is accused of arranging millions of dollars in bribes to socialist party funds to secure Belgian government contracts for the helicopter manufacturer, Agusta, of Italy and Dassault Electronique, of France Mr Claes signed the contracts, but denies knowing that his Socialist party received any payments.
