Violence in Kashmir

Police in Indian-administered Kashmir say nine people have been killed in separatist violence in the past twenty-four hours.

The bodies of four civilians were found at Kujar-Kawdrag near Kulgam Town south of Srinagar.

Police sources say the victims - who had links with separatist groups - were killed by pro-India militants.

In a separate incident, two members of the separatist, Hizb-ul Mujahideen group, have been killed in a clash with soldiers in Anantnag district.
