Roofer remanded on murder charge

A 21-year-old Norwich man charged with murdering a 37-year-old mother-of-two has been remanded in custody.

Roofer Lee Alan Cook, of Longe Road, is charged with murdering Lorraine Turner, of Desmond Drive, Old Catton, Norwich.

She was found dead at her home on 17 August.

Ms Turner had a 10-year-old son and an eight-year-old daughter.

Great Yarmouth magistrates remanded Mr Cook in custody on Friday.

He is due at Norwich Crown Court on 1 November.
