Appeal to person 'shielding rapist'

Police say someone must know the attacker

Detectives hunting the man who raped a 41-year-old woman outside her Suffolk home have launched an appeal to whoever is shielding him.

Suffolk Police believe someone must know the attacker and be helping him to hide from justice.

The victim was attacked outside her home in the Clements Estate, Haverhill, 12 days ago.

Detectives say it was a violent and shocking attack and they have already pursued more than 200 lines of inquiry.

A team of 15 officers are working on the manhunt.

Police say whoever is helping to hide the attacker should contact them.
