Serial sex offender jailed
Court graphic
A sex offender has been jailed for more than three years for exposing himself to schoolgirls on buses.

David Cook, 51, from Rushden in Northamptonshire, had more than 120 previous convictions for similar offences over more than four decades.

Southampton Crown Court heard that in one day Cook had exposed himself four times to schoolchildren on buses.

Cook admitted four charges of indecency and he was sentenced to three years and four months imprisonment.

Judge David L Griffiths said he was concerned that Cook had begun to target girls rather than women.

He said: "These are disgusting offences.

"They were shocking to the girls concerned and they were very intimidated."
