Two arrested over robbery death
CCTV footage
The robbers were caught on CCTV cameras
Police hunting a couple caught on CCTV robbing an elderly widow who died soon afterwards, have arrested an 18-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man.

Joyce Bryant was mugged in Hillgrove Street North in Kingsdown - she died two weeks later in hospital. The pair arrested on suspicion of the offence are still being questioned by detectives.

Mrs Bryant, from Kingsdown, Bristol, suffered a broken hip when she was robbed in Hillgrove Street North on 25 September.

The 86-year-old's bag, containing just £5, was taken from her by a man and woman who pushed her to the ground after asking for directions.

The pensioner died as a result of heart failure caused by a blood clot which developed while she was in hospital recovering from the attack.

Her death is not being treated as murder, but as an unlawful killing.

CCTV footage taken at the time showed a man and a woman following Mrs Bryant along Dove Street and then running away from the scene.

The woman in the footage could be seen holding the stolen bag as they ran off.

The man is described as white, aged about 17, 5ft 2ins tall, of slim build with short dark hair.

He was wearing a dark slip-over jacket, coffee-coloured trousers, and dirty white trainers.
