The road has been closed because of fire damage
Up to 30 people have been evacuated from their homes after a fire at a motor parts shop.

Police were called to the store in Queens Avenue, Watford, Hertfordshire, at about 0130 BST on Thursday.

Nobody was injured in the fire, but because of fears that the fire could spread, 30 residents were asked to leave their homes.

Fire investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire.

Gas company Transco were also called to the scene.

Queens Avenue has remains closed due to fire damage and motorists are being asked to avoid the area on Thursday.
