Police appeal follows armed robberies
Police in County Antrim have appealed for information following two armed robberies.

The first incident happened at a shop on the Doagh Road in Newtownabbey.

Two masked men armed with a gun and knife entered the shop at about 1830 BST on Wednesday.

They escaped with a sum of money.

Meanwhile, detectives in north Belfast are appealing for information following an attack on a video shop.

The incident happened on the Cavehill Road at about 2030 BST on Wednesday.

A man carrying a knife entered the shop and demanded money.
