Man killed in road crash
police tape
A young man was killed and three other people seriously injured in a road crash in Essex.

An 18-year-old passenger of a Renault Clio died when the car overturned on Ashes Road, near Braintree at 2130 BST on Wednesday.

Essex Police believe the Clio was overtaking an Audi when the driver lost control and the car flipped onto a grass verge.

Drivers in both vehicles and another passenger were taken to Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford with serious injuries.
