RSPCA calls for elephant-free zoos |
| The independent Oxford University study, funded by the RSPCA, found the creatures lifespan was dramatically reduced. Adult elephants in European zoos were found to live about 15 years whereas elephants in the wild reach 60-65 years. Hilary Andersson reports from South Africa. |
