Cuban leader welcomes Venezeulan president elect
The president of Cuba, Fidel Castro, has sent a message to Venezuela's president-elect Hugo Chavez congratulating him on his victory.
Mr Chavez visited Cuba in 1994 for which he was severely criticised by his political opponents in the run-up to Sunday's presidential elections.
