Business news is broadcast live every weekday morning (including bank holidays) between 0615 and 0626 London time - and now you don't have to worry anymore if you miss them.

The programme provides an authoritative guide to the important business stories and data of the morning, giving you news first hand by talking to the people who are making the decisions in the world of business and finance.

Our presenters Nigel Cassidy and Mary Gahan, use their years of experience to interpret the crucial themes that will affect people's lives and the businesses they work for.

Nigel Cassidy

Nigel joined the BBC in 1984 as a reporter and producer for local radio, and has been covering business news since 1990, when he joined the BBC's Financial Unit. He has presented a wide variety of business programmes including 'In Business', 'Financial World Tonight' and Radio 5 Live's 'Newstalk'.

He created Radio 4's 'The Board Game' and 'Shelf Lives', formats that bring business issues to a wider audience.

Mary Gahan

Mary has a journalistic career spanning more than 20 years, having worked in newspapers, television and radio. She joined the BBC in 1996 as a reporter for the Business Breakfast programme on BBC 1 television.
In her spare time Mary is an amateur beekeeper.
